First of all, there is not one good reason why ROR will be the odd man out over Stastny.

Second, 29 teams have all contacted Colorado about ROR, more than once. They have all been told he is not on the trade block. One day that may change, but kicking the tires now would be redundant and pointless.

If I was Darcy Regier, I'd be putting out feelers on him now. It never hurts to inquire about players. Thats what the great GMs do

ROR's cap hit is 5 million, but he will be making 6.5 million. That also means Av's have to offer him a contract worth at least 6.5 million in order to keep him from becoming a UFA (unless he agrees to less.) Making it highly likely either he or Statsny isn't with the team after next summer.

Eks really letting this site go to poop. It's sad. As much of a joke this sites always kinda been, I feel like its not even "funny sad" anymore.

It's more like "man that thing looks really sick, someone should just put it out of its misery....sad"

I sure hope O'Reilly stays in Colorado but if he does get shipped it certainly won't be for Ryan Miller simply because he is entering his prime and Miller is clearly past it. On the other hand I sure wouldn't mind Miller coming to Colorado for a few years if the price was right but knowing Regier that will not be happening.

Yeah, this site is getting ripped a new one on Twitter right now because of the garbage that gets posted on here by bloggers.

While I come to this site more to discuss hockey with other like-minded hockey fans than come in here looking for "the news", it would be nice if the bloggers exhibited some more professionalism and did some fact checking before they express their opinions on here.
